We have a new lamb on the ground. It is the first purebred Katahdin hair sheep born on the farm. Carol discovered it this morning while doing her chores. She first notice some fresh-ish afterbirth on the ground, and at 4°F she was sure it would be dead. In a glance, she found the lamb. Although dried-off by her mother, it was obvious that this little she-lamb was only hours old.

Mother and baby are doing fine and our llama (Dolly) is closely watching both of them. She is quite watchful over baby sheep and goats.
