OK folks, here it is.  You really can get something for nothing… well, sort of.

I now have, in my care, 1 Kombucha mother and 2 daughters.  I believe that I will continue to make a new batch of Kombucha every week (or week and a half).  In doing so, I should have WAY more SCOBY’s that I will ever need.  So, if you want one, simply let me know and you can pick one up.  If I get a few requests, I’ll half the SCOBY.  My original SCOBY was halved.

If you are not local, I could mail/ship it to you.  Pay for the shipping ($5-6 I would guess should cover the cost) and it’ll be on its way.

It’s called pay-forward.  I got my SCOBY for free, you should too… for now.  If you feel the need to barter… I am looking for a few hop rhizomes for tea making.  I’d like to begin growing my own next year.  Pass the word.
