I’m happy to announce, we have decided on a name for the farm’s first Scottish Highland heifer-calf. We’ll be calling her Sheena. Her true name will be Sheena of Coyote Ridge. With that out of the way, here is a short Youtube video of Sheena, learning to eat hay. As most of you know, she was born on Friday, April 15th.
Enjoy.
Here is a pic gallery of the little bull-calf that was born yesterday. We think we’ll be calling him Mo Duinne (mow doo-inn). One meaning of the name is something like “my browner (one)”, by definition of an online Scottish Gaelic dictionary.
